SAMSUNG GALAXY J1 MINI PRIME REVIEW
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime smartphone is now released in Pakistan. It is powered by Spreadtrum SC9830A chipset, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime runs on Android OS v6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. It comes with a Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery. It features a 4 inches TFT display with 480 x 800 px resolution. A thin-film-transistor (TFT) LCD display is a variant of a liquid-crystal display (LCD).
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime runs on Android OS v6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box, but the Galaxy J1 Mini Prime’s firmware can be upgraded to a newer version of OS.
Screen size is measured in inches, diagonally from corner to corner. The 4 inches TFT capacitive touch screen with 480 x 800 px resolution is multitouch capable.
The smartphone’s memory (1 GB) cannot be expanded, but the storage (8 GB) can be expanded with a microSD card.
The camera of the Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime has no autofocus capability (fixed-focus). Autofocus is a camera feature that fine-tunes the focus of the camera. When you try to take a photo of a nearby object with an autofocus lens camera, you will discover that your photo isn’t very sharp.
Galaxy J1 Mini Prime is 3G and 4G capable. This smartphone has a built-in GPS receiver. GPS is a satellite-based navigation system that allows the determination of the exact geographical location on Earth. This Samsung smartphone has FM radio receiver.
The Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery gives the smartphone a good battery backup. This is a low maintenance battery. No periodic discharge is needed and charging can be done at random.
The smartphone sensors measure physical quantities and transmit them to the application processor. The phones’ accelerometer is a built-in electronic component that measures tilt and motion. The Galaxy J1 Mini Prime has Dual SIM capability, which means that you can insert two different SIM cards and use them both from one phone.
